"Azpetrol" began its activity with the opening of its first petrol station in Tbilisi Avenue of Baku in July 15, 1997. At the end of that year the number of the petrol stations constructed became 8 and by growing one after another during the following years amounted to 70, 66 of which realize petrol and diesel fuel distribution and the other four stations are LPG retail distribution stations.

Now "Azpetrol" is a leading company among the companies engaged in the retail sale of automotive fuel. Though the number of the petrol stations operated by the Company makes only 15% of the total number of the petrol stations throughout the country, thanks to the excellent service and high quality of the distributed product, the share of "Azpetrol" in the appropriate  market is more than 50%.
